Sumaiyah

Sumaiyah is one of the many fantastic teachers within The French Experience Family. While French is her first language, she is actually multilingual. Being born on the breathtaking island of Mauritius, she has gotten an opportunity to build a very beautiful and heartfelt connection to French culture. she enjoys swimming, baking, and painting in her spare time. She’s been exposed to more than ten jobs in different fields thus far.

She is always exposed to French at home, and at school. She immigrated to Canada in middle school and attended French immersion. In high school, she was awarded for excelling in French, art, and business. She completed her undergrad at York University, Glendon Campus. Finally, she’s had a lot of experience teaching. This year, she is teaching a sweet grade 2 French immersion class.
